Here's A Thought with Charles Shaughnessy for March 31st & April 7th

TOON by Janne Nordvang

Sorry everyone, but we will not be able to do a LIVE show either this week March 31st or next, April 7th.

~best, Charlie

  1. Will have to watch in the archives Charlie

  2. You go to miss us. Friendships of France.

  3. As I sit here today, watching endless coverage of Mr. Trump's latest outrageous comments, I realize how much I miss Here's A Thought! Of course, we know Charlie, that you have a personal and professional life that often necessitates you having to be away and that's how it should be. I just want you to know that the show is missed by a great many people who enjoy watching you on a Thursday, talk about interesting and relevant topics. Whether we call in, comment on the Blog, comment on Facebook, Tweet, or just watch, we are pondering things that we don't always think about in our busy lives. It is wonderful to hear or read different points of view, which open our minds to other possibilities. It's great to be able to share a point of view and know you are not going to be verbally attacked for having it!

It is a terrific show that you and Janelle put together and I know I speak for a great many people who watch every show, even though they may not participate, we miss it when it's not on, but look forward to when it comes back!

  4. I love that even when you don't have a show, you still have a fantastic cartoon by Janne!!! :)

  5. I miss you. And I agree with Sharon Hallett. From France

At each stop, he connects with locals, immerses himself in regional activities, learns about the country’s unique relationship with liquor and sometimes even participates in the alcohol-making process. If you haven't seen the show, you must check it out the website for #BoozeTraveler or watch some of the episodes online or on The Travel Channel. Check your …

Charles Shaughnessy's thoughts on Cory Monteith's death

Charles Shaughnessy on Twitter  @C_Shaughnessy
"RIP Cory.  Until we treat alcoholism and other mental health problems as compassionately as we treat cancer, there will be other Corys."

What are your thoughts?

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — “Glee” actor Cory Monteith, who had struggled for years with substance abuse and once said he was lucky to be alive, died of an overdose of heroin and alcohol, the British Columbia coroner’s office said Tuesday.“There is no evidence to suggest Mr. Monteith’s death was anything other than a most tragic accident,” the office said in a statement. He was 31 years old.
